Thanks for the response. That is what I kind of thought since even with the heads off, I have to wiggle it this way and that way to get it out of the truck. And YES, I did notice the subtle differences between the two engines. I got another engine stand to do exactly what you are referring.

Concerning the crossover pipe. I have already taken the heads off, (they were cracked) and decided to go with a JDM replacement. My question is... It is better to install the exhaust cross-over pipe before I re-install the engine? I have taken the crossover pipe off and it was fairly easy...
