Hey all, I feel like every set I get suck- had RainX, then some brand they recommended at the store, now new Michelins- all leave a streaky mess on my windshield. I can't imagine it's the glass- it's impeccable, original, and crystal clear. What do you recommend?? Thanks!

Revo, that sounds about right. In any case, Consumer Reports and Tirerack both seem to really favor the Michelin LTX M/S2s right now. Thoughts?

I may be remembering different parts here. White lettering is just a personal preference, but I recall the ones they recommended did have that as an option. In any case, I live in New England, and am just looking for what people consider the best of the best ATs. Thanks!!!

I ended up having the whole thing replaced at the dealer. Luckily my car insurance provider (who's fantastic) alots me three glass replacements a year in case of suck incidentals. Best of luck, BB

I'm about to replace my SR5/stock running boards with the nerf bars from an SE. Couple of questions: 1. My 4R is an 06 - will any 4th gen SE 4R's nerf bars be okay, 2. The mounting bolts are missing. Do the standard running boards use the same bolts/equipment, so I can reuse? Thanks!

Well, tried Simple Green. It definitely got it whiter and clean, but, as I suspected, the undlerying paint has faded and flaked a little, so it's back to a Sharpie oil-based white marker I picked up. So far seems to be really doing the job.
