Best windshield wipers- tired of the junk!!

Hey all, I feel like every set I get suck- had RainX, then some brand they recommended at the store, now new Michelins- all leave a streaky mess on my windshield. I can't imagine it's the glass- it's impeccable, original, and crystal clear.

What do you recommend??

i get mine from the stealership, the parts guy is pretty cool and gives em to me for 9.99 a piece. I just went in, asked him to price em, when he told me $15 or watever i said ill just go to walmart, i can get good ones for 10 a piece, try it, might work

Ive had all the aftermarkets as well. Honestly, i put OEMs on both the 03 and 08 we got and they are still wiping perfectly, even after all the snow and much we've had out here in the Berkshires.

I just installed Bosch wiper blades and they seem to be pretty good. The key is to change them every six months. The rubber just doesn't hold up longer than that in this part of the country.

I live in Chicago we get, snow, sleet, slush, rain, hail, grime, dirt, and radiation from Japan, it cleans it all!

I put the RainX lattitudes on mine. Works great!! Still they need to be changed regularly of course. :driving:

imo, it depends more on how often a person changes & takes care of them more so than the brand. some parts of the country its recommended every 3 months , other parts every 12, & that includes all brands. yes ive known some people who have run the same set for 2 years or more, but there are lots things to consider, like running them over an icey windshield without completly scraping it before can ruin them, a vec kept outside all the time takes its toll, etc. in the past ive used real expensive brands that worked well but didnt last long at all & cheap brands that didnt do as good a job but lasted much longer. so personally, i now buy a reasonably decent priced set for the colder months & another for the warmer ones , so i change them twice a year for best visability. I use the factory refills at around $4 each. I have never had wipers last so long in the arizona sun. It does not rain much here (no snow) but my 1st set lasted 5 years and could have went more.

I vote for the RainX Latitudes too, and again make sure to change them before the rain comes.

I recommend the Bosch Icons. I have had good experience with them. Then again I haven't tried any other besides OEM.

I get the Rain-X Latitude 8-In-1 Premium Graphite Coated Wiper Blades from amazon.com. So far they work great.

Same here - after replacing with OEM a year or so back I had problems with squeaking on the driver's side so I replaced that one with Bosch (kept the OEM on the right). Both still working great.

I vote Bosch Excel+. Over the years (God I sound like an old dude), I too have tried several brands including the Bosch Evolution and I go back to the Bosch metal frame. I will buy a whole new blade and frame every 2 years and replace the blade every year.

I've have the Icons for about a year now. Still wiping great.
