I would look at General Grabber HTS. I don't know how long they will last but great traction and ride. Look at tirerack.com under the survey link under each tire. This will show consumer ratings which I trust more than a magazine or a single source review.

I also contribute the good traction to the brand new General Grabbers HTS. According to Consumer reports and the tire rack, these are great tires. I looked at the consumer ratings on tirerack, and the Generals blow away the stock Bridgestone Duelers as far as wet traction and snow traction.
