Looking into a 1994 with 144k miles. I believe it's 1 owner. I need something for a daily driver. How do these classics hold up? Good for a small family? Timing belt or chain? Thanks so much!

I've got around $5-6k to spend on a Sequoia. I'm probably going to go with a year 2000/01. What would be your cut off when it comes to mileage? 150k? Is 200k alright? This should last me a few years of regular driving. Opinions? Going 4wd with this purchase. Thanks!

I'll recheck the gaps tomorrow and if it doesn't improve, I'll just put the copper one's in. It does run smoother now, though.

I like the looks of the 3rd gen better, and it feels more sturdy.

V6, denso iridium plugs. Went from 16-17mpg to 12-13mpg. Unplugged the battery already. Can someone confirm the gap setting and if the iridium plugs are not a good choice for the v6?

Has anyone installed single side steps? Not the running boards like we have, but the individual truck steps? Which ones did you order and how did you mount them? I want to chuck my runnin boards but my kid still needs a step to climb in. Thanks!

I probably won't be exploring the forest with my 2wd, just because I'd want to have a better chance of getting out of there safe. I never thought of the road before. That is a something to consider.

I searched for rwd and 2wd here. Wasn't a big issue for me when I purchased it. But now I want to do some light off-roading in my 2wd. Is it a waste of time? I'm looking to get a4x4 beater some day so I can do more, but it'd be nice to a little taste. Any pointers?
