I did recently put 275/70 tires on it. But the steering feeling was there with the old OEM tires and didn’t change much when the 275s went on.

Yeah, I understand wanting to lift the front to level things out. I should have clarified my question, why lift the front to the point it’s higher than the rear? As you did, I’m leaning towards lifting the rear an inch or so to level it out.
