See thats what i was thinking cause i had cheaked the dip stick 3 times and it said it was good. But the oil gauge inside is between the middle and low area. Im i going to have any problems with that?

The oil gauge in the 4runners are to show what. The pressure or the amount of oil in your engine?

You guys tell me if im wrong but i think it could be the valve. Cause my brother has a 94 toyota pickup and he had some work done to the motor. the guy who was working on it never got the timing with the valve or something right with it. So when you step on the gas you here a ticking sound.

thanks for the info i did not know i thought a v8 would use way more gas

i got my brothers shop were i did a tune up at. I did the work with the help of him but we did not do it at home so i say both cause how many people have lifts and stuff like that.

I got the SR5 cause it was the only vehicle i liked. We looked at jeeps, mustangs that were beat like a red headed step child, and a few old BMWs, but we past the SR5 one day headed to my moms work and it was love at first sight. Some old man had it and treated it with some TLC for a long time...

my little V6 is plenty plus there is no way i could pay for gas in a v8.

I dont smoke. 1) Cause im to young to buy them. 2) I am a runner for my high schools cross country team. You cant go to state smoking or run 45 miles a week. 3) The smell it kills me. but if you smoke all i can say is go ahead i dont care more power to you.

I hope they can find the person or people who did this. At least then we know there not running out on the streets getting ready to do it agian or something.
