Calling all parents on this board....

I'm really suprised that there is a mark-up at all on PSPs. Are there shortages of them? Because if not, people would just buy them from online stores for cheaper than that on ebay. Ebay usualy sells for less, so people get large quantities of items for cheaper and sell just under retail.

    Good all around tire recommendation...

I was lucky and the Michelin Cross Terrains came stock on my new 4runner, and I have to say they are great tires. I am about to change to the Revos, but because I want a more aggressive tire. The Michelins will last longer than the Revos from what I've read. Mine have lasted 55k miles and still...

    Mud Scoop (Front Skid Plate)

I went to go get my oil changed the other day, and it took over an hour because the mechanic had to knock out a good bit of hard, dry dirt that had built up under the front skid plate. It really acts like a mud scoop with the holes, and open front. Guess I just need a lift to keep that thing out...

    Getting wires into center console?

Use the first couple steps on this guide to dissasemble the center console, and I would just drill a small hole to run the wires out. You could also tap into the 12v jack next to the shifter. Hope this helps. http://www.castulucci.com/projects/carpc/oemnaviaccess/

how to keep the fog lights on with high beams

I tried doing this mod, but it did not work? I pulled the relay and wrapped one end of the wire around the flat pin you indicated then ran it out to the same spot you had yours to ground it, but it did not come on when I tested using my high beams. Any ideas why?

    License Plate frames

Here is a picture of my chrome license plate frame on my titanium 4runner. It's a bit dirty, but it looks great on the silver.

When I do go mud riding, I have to turn off Traction Control and sometimes I have to continually rev in the 4-5k range to get enough wheelspin to get unstuck, are there any consequences to doing this, or is it ok for the engine?

    Re: Love or Hate VSC?

On my SR5 V6 4x2, it is much easier to get through mud/etc. with the traction control turned off. With it out as soon as i get in some mud it won't barely let me move because it senses loss of traction and automatically tries to decelerate until it regains traction, but it can't... Luckily on...

It took about 15 min and $4 at the do it yourself place to spray off most of the mud on the outside. When the truck got stuck i had to get in and out through the passenger side since the left side was almost in the water so I got the interior and leather a bit muddy so that took about an hour...

Did it all in 2WD with Michelin Cross Terrains with 53,000 miles on them. I'm pretty amazed. I did find though that you have to turn Traction Control off to get enough traction in 2WD. I sometimes had to rev pretty high, but it would begin to move slowly and get out of whatever I was in. I'm...

Hey my name is Case, and I've been lurking around these forums for a couple weeks. I finally decided to register. Here are some pictures of my 03 SR5 V6 Titanium after I went mud riding on saturday. I couldn't believe how much mud this 2WD 4runner could get though. Water was up just above my...
