Had mine flushed at 115k miles with Mobil1. Was great before, even better now. Only been drained and filled by dealer before. Always have my auto's flushed, just choose a garage with the right machine. I always use one that allows the trans to pump out its own and pulls new in. No pressure type...

Can anyone help me source this stuff??? I've been to every place that carries M1 products and they all say they can't even order the stuff in for me. I'll get another brand synth gear oil if I have to but my oil and trans fluids are M1 and I've had such good luck with them I wanted to keep on...

Re: question No, not always constant. Real hard to tell without sitting in the truck to hear it. I guess it's just an easy thing to rule out by dropping one end of a shaft and check for binding and play. If you say it's coming from the front, maybe start with the front shaft. Sounds like...

Kinda hard to pin point without seeing/hearing, but I'd make sure your u-joints are lubed and not dry or binding. If the drive shafts "feel" tight that doesn't always mean they're good. Sometimes you've got to drop the shaft and flex it to be sure. Good luck!

Thanks for all the responses. I don't want to wear the middle out of these tires as they're pricy! The Michelins I had were at 29, seemed a bit low but they were wider than the GY's (same size tire but "visably" wider tread). May have had something to do with it. The wear was perfectly even...

I'd be interested in this as well as my chrome is cracked and the rust stains look terrible. How do you strip the chrome off?

Hi all. I've done a quick search on this but thought I'd ask specifically about brand. I just had a set of Goodyear Fortera triple tred's installed, 265/70R16 on stock rims, and am wondering if anyone else has them and what pressure you're using. They replaced LTX M/S's which I set at 29psi...
