Not the way to start a Tuesday morning. Victim of the other driver blowing through a red light at around 60-70 and never hit the brakes. Well let’s just say, no skid marks. Took the hit pretty well I’ll say, thank you my friend… I’ll be looking for a replacement soon.

Mine is more like yours. But I have those colored lines only, nothing else on the screen. The touch screen still works, but that’s only good for maybe changing music stations. My path forward is to install a unit from a 2020 or later with CarPlay.

OK- now just have to find a newer HU.... Anything else to look for? Would you have a link to the harness? TIA

So are the apple car play units plug and play in an older model? That could be a great upgrade down the road.

Didn't find anything on FB marketplace that was local, and pricing wasn't that big of a savings.

I tried the battery disconnect, but nothing. The pick and pull price was $336- so not terrible

So this just happened the other day to my touch screen. Is this fixable? Or do I just need to replace the whole unit? Found the same one from a 2017 in a local pick and pull.

That's what I did- sprayed it down and no more oil smell. I checked the other day and it still seems kind of oil free. I'll just keep an eye on it and buy some more brake cleaner

An oil leak started right after my last oil change. Today I changed my oil again as well as the serpentine belt so I got to get a good look for the leak. The oil seems to be coming high up on the passenger side in the area of the power steering pump. Any thoughts on what could be the culprit...

went with P- just notice the squirm when doing more evasive steering inputs- but again I'm probably more aware of these things due to car racing :)
