Good Bye ole Friend

Not the way to start a Tuesday morning. Victim of the other driver blowing through a red light at around 60-70 and never hit the brakes. Well let’s just say, no skid marks. Took the hit pretty well I’ll say, thank you my friend…
I’ll be looking for a replacement soon.

Glad to hear you are ok. This is a terrible situation when your vehicle is paid off. And worse if it’s modded. Hopefully you’ll be back in another one soon.

Glad you are safe. for 60/70 mph impact that doesn't look aweful, you must have done some excellent defensive last minute meneuvering!

if they really did hit you going 60-70 then the 4runner indeed took that hit more than very well. big old body on frame did what it needed to do. did you get spun around? how did the rear end get damaged

I'm very impressed with how well the 4runner took that impact. The other car T-boned me in the front wheel area, which then spun me around and the other car then made contact with the back corner. Speed limit is 55 on that road and most people drive around 70. Since there were absolutely no skid marks, the car had to hit me in that range.

Doesn't look like someone I'd ever want to buy a used car from. Your 4-Runner held up really well I'd say. Glad you're safe!

Good lord man... Glad you walked away.

My wife was recently rear-ended by a big rig.

The used car market is F****D

Buy new if you can.
