2016 Touch Screen Issues

So this just happened the other day to my touch screen. Is this fixable? Or do I just need to replace the whole unit? Found the same one from a 2017 in a local pick and pull.

I would get the pick and pull part replacement if you can just in case (hopefully not too expensive). try disconnecting car battery for 5-10 minutes. could be a bad connector, solder joint internally or just screen is dieing. I think you're better off just replacing, should be just plug and play from old to new

I’ve seen hints of that in my 2016, off and on and disco battery helped, update from dealer worked with some wavy.
Please let us know how pricey pick n pull option is.

I tried the battery disconnect, but nothing.
The pick and pull price was $336- so not terrible

search secondary market for one (FB market, offer up etc) should be able to find one for $250 or under. Another option is go with the 2020 ? plus for apple car play, tad more expensive pending what you find.

I think I sold my 2017 HU at $225 for a quick sale

So are the apple car play units plug and play in an older model? That could be a great upgrade down the road.
