I'm pretty sure that it's the filter because I have been able to wipe fresh oil from around the filter seal after driving. Although it is possible that it could be dripping from somewhere else, so I will take a closer look before actually doing the filter change.

Have you tried driving in reverse? A few times I have had the lights flash for a minute or two without going into 4wd, but when I shifted to reverse and backed up a few feet it went into 4wd within seconds.

I've got a similar situation on my '01...just the rubber roof strips. Are the factory tracks the only option for something that would mount to the pre-existing holes? Anybody know a good place to get those? Thanks.
