FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!
TOYOTA BETTER GIVE US A DIESEL! I know they wont but with BMW advertising the benefits of their new oil burners here in the US you would think Toyota would bring theirs here and stop with all the hybrid crap!
Ok I feel better.
Word to the wise. There is NO WAY this fits my 04 with NAV/RDS/JBL. The opening in my dash is WAY too small for this kit to fit. Sucks too cause the kits that do fit all look like crap!
The ride is better. The front end feels more tied together. I believe the bumper acts like a frame brace ad makes the chassis better. It is also slightly smoother riding, but note my springs, OME heavy
Better fit/finish to ARB. More options as you can ask them to add winch plugs, light tabs, with grill/headlight bars or without, pick your color, or have it unfinished and have it painted to match your car, it looks better, better approach angle
I put over 50k on my set of 265/70's and love them. These are 285's, love them too. My truck is a daily driver so I took my ego out of it and realized that even on wheeling weekends I might drive 1,000 miles on the road (round trip) to get to where I will wheel for 50 miles off-road, so % wise A/T
I just installed a new front bumper and had to show it of. Come on now, isn't that what we do here? :) I have been spending more time over on Toyota120, but thought I would post here too since some folks dont go over there.

Which plug from the factory harness goes into the Eclipse unit to give you the backup camera. I am sure it is not the main plug. Can someone tell me, or show me?
I just got off the phone with Garmin. I ahve been investigating the Kenwood/Garmin nav radios. They say that these units Nav is based on their street pilots. She also said there is not a big difference in reliability between the "hidden" Kenwood nav unit and the 7100's integrated setup.
I...
I will post a pic of the camera today. I was gone on a road trip all weekend, sorry for a slow response. I love the Eclipse and the Alpine for sound quality. I have heard the Alpine is the best Ipod interface, period (can anyone confirm this?). That all said the Kenwood has a good Ipod interface...
No why would this not be worth the time the camera is mounted, works great, the install is a cleaner than you would ever get an aftermarket installation to work.........seems like a much better solution for me, since I already have it in place and working from the factory, to leverage it vs...
I ahve the factory Nav with backup camera. I am looking at replacing it with an aftermarket unit (Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer or Eclipse) to get better sound quality, ipod hookup, XM hookup etc. Can I hook up the factor backup camera to an aftermarket unit?
Ok, so resurecting this one............seems like no one here removed the factory Nav, which is what I will be doing. Does anyone know if the wire hareneses etc need to be changed to do so?
I have been running my Terk XM Commander through my factory NAV for a while now. It worked well, except that it was on FM Modulation so it was quiet (volume far lower than disc, or the radio, even with the XM Commanders volume setting on high) and on long trips the reception would go out as...
