Going to go with the marlin rebuild kit thanks for the input guys I appreciate it.

I would rather rebuild my own than buy one just cause you never know when buying used. Any advice on rebuild kits I have looked them up on eBay going for around 170-200 I know marlin has a good one but I'm kinda on a budget but I also know you get what you pay for.

So I have had a metallic sound coming from the transmission in my 87 4runner, thought it might be the throw out bearing going bad so me and my buddy replaced the whole clutch got everything back together and I still have the noise. My buddy says there was a little play on the transmission input...

It's a manual trans.

Checked it out this afternoon the sound is defenatly coming from the trans. Sounds like there is a marble in the trans and the faster the truck goes so does the marble. I drained and replaced the fluid didnt see anything.

I just put ball joint spacers on and had the frony end alighnment done. The truck is level but still looks a little high in the front. So if I lower the torsion bars about an inch is it going to effect the alighnment?

I wheel when I can, could just do the idler arm but for the price I figure iWork's have some extra stuff. While I'm on here was wondering if there is anything I should prep for when replacing the rear output shaft seal? Other than just having to remove the drive shaft.

My idler arm is about to go and I was looking on eBay and I can get a kit for around $100.00 with tie rod ends idler arm, pitman arm, and upper and lower ball joints. Sounds good to me but I haven't really bought anything off eBay so I was wondering if anyone has or has some better advice. Thanks.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 1.50 and kid you are more than right. Quality is always better than quantity.

Any suggestions on what ones to go with I was leaning towards the spidertrax but have found others on eBay for half the price. I know you get what you pay for but any thoughts?

I'm looking to get wheel spacers to widen my stance a little. Everything I have looked at will not fit manul locking hubs. I have searched and can't find anything on how to get it done the right way. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.

U-bolts I have should be long enough, but I'm looking into the flip kit. Another thing I was thinking about doing was throwing a header on there looked into it a lot of people say they couldn't notice a differance others say its a good deal and well worth it. Any thoughts?

Yeah I'm going to go with the blocks I was looking around in the garage and found a set of 2" blocks I used to have on my Mazda, no reason not to use what I already have right. That will save me some cash and put that towards new shocks.
