Wheel spacers?

I'm looking to get wheel spacers to widen my stance a little. Everything I have looked at will not fit manul locking hubs. I have searched and can't find anything on how to get it done the right way. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.

How will they not fit manual hubs? I used Trailgear spacers on my '86 and they fit just fine.

They work fine just watch out that the wheel when spaced Dosent make the hub sink into it to far you may have trouble turning it

Any suggestions on what ones to go with I was leaning towards the spidertrax but have found others on eBay for half the price. I know you get what you pay for but any thoughts?

I wouldn't mess around with things that keep your wheels attached. Spend the extra $50 and buy from a company with a brand name to protect.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 1.50 and kid you are more than right. Quality is always better than quantity.

Spacers from AllPro, Marlin, Trail Gear are all good.
Just make sure to torque them properly, and check the torque after the first 100 miles.
A little lock-tite on the threads wouldn't hurt either.

I'm running TG spacers, have been for quite some time, no complaints.

Im running TG 1" spacers on my 85. Torque to 100 pounds and put some Loc-tite. 1000k so far no problems. Re-torque after 100 miles and check 'em when u rotate ur tires.

I've been running 2" spacers for about 6 months now and I love them. I got them so my tires wouldn't rub my sway bar and it got the job done. And i used loctite on my inner lugs as well and re-torque them every couple months.

Good call with the loctite, next time I rotate my tires/wheels I'll add the loctite

Spacers

You need "lug-centric" wheel spacers for manual locking hubs. They have a larger opening in the center and center themselves using the lugs. Where a the "hub centric" spacers use the hub itself to center and dont fit over the manual hub.
I run the all-pro lug centric 1 1/2" on my front axle.. Love'em! Just dont go too wide (more than around 2") because it places a little more stress on your outboard wheel bearing.
