i hope they dont need numbers off sensor?. the sensor is already on the wheel, do they just hook up to scanner? cuz my guy here didnt write any numbers down off of the new sensor.hope i dont need to remove it to do that??

i have a 2005 v6 and had my guy at work replace the tire pressure sensor due to leaking valve stem and core broken inside the wheel. How do we get the low tire pressure light to go out on the dash? will it go off after a few miles or do i need to take it to dealership to turn it off?

no valve core per Toyota...?? does anyone have a Toyota part number for the valve core replacement kit? Toyota is telling me it it does not exist and i need the whole new valve and sensor. I want to try and replace the core first, cuz thats where its leaking...???

Ahh haa i asked my tech and he did try to get the valve core out of the stem but said it was corroded in there and couldnt get loose. he said now that i have the sensor he will try it again, that way if it breaks or still cant get it out he will just replace the sensor, but lets hope he gets...

Not tire As i stated, tire is fine. the stem is where the leak is. i sprayed soapy water in top of stem and it has a slow bubble, unfortunately the stem can only be replaced with a new sensor as well. the schrader valve cant be removed from the stem :dammit:
