I have a 2011 TE, and i have been towing a 5000lb trailer from the bay area to nevada 2 times a year without any problems. If i need extra power, i will down shift but thats pretty rare.

i guess that's kind of my point... given the gas tank and the skid covering it, the back side of frame isnt exactly accessible - without some serious disassembly- for these bolts. I don't really want to put extra holes in my frame, just to access these through holes, unless I absolutely have to.
