Glad you're fine, and reassured by how well your Runner protected you. Hope the other driver was OK, too. But what was up with his driving? Drunk? On (or off) his meds? Excessive speed? Fell asleep? Couldn't stand driving his Ford Explorer or Jeep Grand Cherokee any longer?

Based on the soaked road in his pic he probably hydroplaned and lost control, cutting across the lanes & hitting the 4R. So many possibilities why (speeding, bad tires, reckless driving, etc). In any case I have a feeling his premium is about to skyrocket!

Wow..... Well. Like everyone else said, glad you are OK! That is a serious testament to the quality of vehicle that is the Gen 5 4Runner! We all may bit(h about this and that, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, its a helluva vehicle, one you can trust your life with. Myself and my family are Toyota owners for life for this very reason.

WOW!! Glad your doing OK. It looks like the cabin is relatively intact, which is awesome considering what the truck went through. It's accidents and pictures like yours that keep me in a Toyota. They aren't the fastest, and sure they might have a few "quarks". But, let's see a new Durango do that and come out looking as "intact" as your T4R.

Absolutely, look at the interior picture......I took the 4wd knob and shift knob!

I am so glad you are okay, I am laughing at the fact the dome light is still operational. It is one of those things that can bring a smile in light of the major damage.
