Dealer wants over $500 which is nuts. I have been looking for used ones but damn near impossible so far.

Update!! I did the FJ Cruiser coil swap , got rid of the XREAS system and its like night and day the difference it made. Much smoother ride and no more "bump steer"! And gained about an inch lift. Should have done it ages ago!

I'll have to wait till it throws the CEL again and put scan tool on. Even though it hesitates at low speed it won't put the CEL on. Eventually it will and then it will stay on for a few days before it goes out by itself. It could be a couple of months before that will happen. I'm wondering if it...

There is about 105k miles on it. It does have XREAS but never noticed it leaking at all. I'm sure it's original, it will do it around corners or in the straight away, doesn't matter .I really want to make the FJ coil change over so maybe that will cure it ? Thoughts?

The problem is the lights don't come on all that often when it does it. When they do stay on the problem will happen for about a week straight and then the lights will go out by themselves. Usually if it is damp and I idle at a lower speed it will start to hesitate. Very frustrating.

I don't want it to be as rough a ride and I hear that going with the fj coil springs are the way to go? Current suspension is not leaking.
