I've got a 2011 Limited that I want to get a new stereo that has Apple CarPlay. I know next to nothing about car stereos so bear with me. i don't care about cost. I want something that will do hands free, still hook up with XM radio, etc. Any suggestions?

I've never had any maintainence reminders come through my GPS before. It could be that it is some kind of 80,000 mile service reminder (I've got 79,300 now). i had transfer case fluid changed at the dealer a while back and I suppose it's possible that they activated a maintainence reminder...

Did you start the engine or just turn it to ignition ON? Did you leave it in PARK and then hold door lock? I've tried it multiple times and still can't get it to work. And yes, I did have a couple beers but still no luck.

I tried it but could not get it to work. I was wondering if there was some sort of trick or something I was missing. I'll probably just end up taking it to Toyota and get them to reprogram it.

I just got my 30,000 mile service before taking a long trip. I first noticed a kind of burnt smell at the back of my 4R when getting gas about 4 hours into my trip. I hadn't noticed it again until yesterday when I was going up and down some steep hills. Is this normal? Thoughts?

I get NO noise from my Gobi. I think it may be a little more quiet now with the sunroof open due to the deflector. I haven't put lights on yet which will most likely increase the noise though. It has only been on my rig for a few days so I haven't gotten to calculate the change in gas milage...
