I just changed my timing belt/water pump but I did something stupid and removed the idler pulley completely. It was fine before, now when I install it, it makes a whirring noise and gets very hot. it is NOT the bearing, I believe the flat metal piece that goes between the nut and the pulley is...

Another successful fix. 99 limited with VATS, part number 82730-35260 fixed the "locks lock but dont unlock" issue. Got it replaced in about 20 minutes with no ill effects. Getting that top bolt off was a bit of a challenge but nothing to write home about.

I know its a small part but 32 bucks is not a lot of money. If you were replacing them in bulk i'd say try to find a cheap source but really for a one time deal its only $32.

yep 2 bulbs bad there. I had the same problem. few bucks at the dealer and I was in business again.

Yeah, I lived in raleigh....I found plenty of rocks but now that tellico is gone, you'd have to join a club and ride private land. Thank goodness for Dayton TN. I did the mud thing. You may think its fun now, but you'll see its not worth it someday :)
