So I ordered a new ignition cylinder, popped it in and nothing has changed. Still no resistance when I turn the key. Any ideas of what else it could be?

This morning I got in my 4Runner and tried to turn the key. It turned as normal and the engine began to crank but halfway through the crank, the key no longer had resistance and everything died. Trying to replace my rear shocks, bit of a noob, but if I put my jackstands on the rear axle, will i be able to remove the shocks? I don't know if theyre supporting any weight. And does anybody have advise to get the PITA top shock bolt off?

If you don't mind me asking, how would I go about diagnosing that?

Just finished up and this was my first brake job so I have a couple questions. When I put the brake pads in, the bottom of the pads were touching the rotor and I could hear it when I spun the wheel. I put the springs in and everything correctly so there was nothing it seemed I could do about it...

I was reading something about shank style vs acorn lug nuts? Will it matter?

No problem, anybody know the answer about the lug nuts and maybe other sites?

My tire says the wheel is 16 though, but it looks like the wheel says 15, should I go with that?
