Just finished up and this was my first brake job so I have a couple questions. When I put the brake pads in, the bottom of the pads were touching the rotor and I could hear it when I spun the wheel. I put the springs in and everything correctly so there was nothing it seemed I could do about it. Is that normal? And after the first test drive, the brakes smelled a little bit. Is that normal?
And btw, I just wanna thank all of you guys for your help. In a matter of three or four months, I've gone from knowing nothing about cars to doing a complete brake job
