    I'm gonna replace my 2nd. gen. 4runner's dash. not the whole thing, just the soft part of it on top. My is all cracked and looks terrible. I need some help with instructions. Has anyone tried this? Thanks

    thanks for the replies guys. how 'bout this... I was thinking of removing the decal, then running a pinstripe around the outline of the shadow where the decal was(top and bottom). The bodyshop guy said that would be OK since the pinstripe will "distract" the eye and brain so that the shadow...

    Yesterday I asked a local paint and body guy about the stripe, and he said to use 3M woodgrain and decal remover and be prepared to "work like hell" for hours to remove the decal. Anyone else use this stuff? Is it worth it to remove the decal? Thanks

    My 90 4runner's stripe is cracked, faded and peeled in places. Its gotta go. Is it difficult to remove? If not, how do I do it? Im prepared to have the paint look "newer" underneath, but I think I'll have my local fix man try to spraypaint and blend in the color. Thanks
