Definitely let us know how that goes DawgRunner!! I have been trying to figure out a way to sneak some bass in the system also. There is the kenwood wOOx route, but I'd prefer an 8 or a 10 sub without loosing too much cargo space.

Vortec4800, where is your detector at? Below the rear view mirror? Do you have a wire coming out of the center piece (the stereo area)? Gotta pic of your dash/windisheild from the inside with the detector?

Also, if I were to get an amplifier and I was planning on putting in a sub later, how many channels would the amp need to be, and a ball park range (a kenwood wOOx to a semi powerful 10") of how many watts would it need to be able to handle?
(I'm not sure what I'd do without the audio guys on...
Hey, its me again trying to decide on a system. I read all of the replies and thanks for the help and info. I was curious if just the Scion HU and Infinity Kappas would work without an additional amp? Would it be worth it?
I think I'll just wait to hear how everything sounds with the new HU. Eventually I can see myself switching the speakers out. I'll probably be asking you same folks when i cross that line (again). Thanks for all of the input.
I've got a Scion HU on the way and I am about to get some new speakers put in from circuit city. The polks are about $55 cheaper than the infinities. Are the infinities worth it? Any suggestions??
