Any Update, Brillo? Just wondering, six months after writing this, what is your current recommendation for internal and external frame rust treatment? I am in Michigan, definite rust best, and want to preserve what's left of my frame!

Ok, so it looks like I am changing out bushings (and other pieces). Is there a recommended order to doing this -- and for now let's just focus on the rear. Where should I start?

Thanks Matt, This is what I was thinking I'd end up doing... new oem shocks, and all of the bushings. How tough was it to change all of those bushings?

I have a 99 T4R Limited, 4wd, 260,000 miles... The suspension is basically original, with the exception of new sway bar links at 129,000 and new rear shocks at 167,000. Last week, I noticed some clanking from the rear suspension when going over a bump. I found the right rear shock was broken...

Let this be a warning! Be careful cleaning the MAF. I was not rough on it at all. I had a very soft brush that I soaked in MAF Cleaner and I brushed everything and made it shine nicely. That was enough to break it. I replaced the MAF (they aren't cheap) and now it runs like a dream.

It first is noticed under load, going to highway speed, it kicks in at about 42mph. But, I can be at speed, 50 or so, and let off, glide down a hill, and the noise remains. thoughts?

No... wouldn't the AC have to be on to hear any noise from it? Or does it bounce around back there and create noise? Where do I look to check this?
