I am heading to Wilmington's Wrightsville beach in a couple of days. Most beautiful beach in the Carolinas. A few weeks back I was down on 12south in Ocrecoke. I recommend the OVR permit to have fun w the 4rnr on sand. Well worth the 50bucks.

We went the OBX for vacation this past week. The truck was unbelievably competent on the sand. I had some slippage in deep soft sand (hubcap deep) but that was it. My toddlers kept yelling "4runner so cool" as I cruise!

I am findind that the stock 20" Bridgestone (32psi) rides really choppy. Small road bumps are unpleasantly felt. Do you experience this with your LE? What solutions do you have? I will need new tires soon and wondering if I need to swap 20" for 17" for better ride comfort. Please advise. Jack
