We went the OBX for vacation this past week. The truck was unbelievably competent on the sand. I had some slippage in deep soft sand (hubcap deep) but that was it. My toddlers kept yelling "4runner so cool" as I cruise!

Sand

Looks good, I live on the coast but have to go 200 miles to drive on a beach.
Sand is my favorite, no rocks, no pinstripes and surprised at what the T4R will handle.

I am in OBX at least once per month, never once have I had any issues (even with the stock Geolanders). Air down to ~20psi and the 4runner will do the rest.

Nice picks! Makes me miss home. Grew up in Greenville NC so the Outer Banks was my second home in the summer. Like op stated above air done to around 18 and you can cruise everywhere. Ramp 38 is probably the worst spot for deep soft sand.
