Yeah, it freaked me out the first time I heard it too, but its just the wind guard adjust according to your speed. It will move as you speed up and as you slow down.

I got my from the dealership. Its definitely worth calling around to different dealerships though, they all sell stuff for different prices. When it was all said and done I paid 170 for my grille, a lot for plastic I know, but I think it was worth every dime!!

If you can't get the 6 disc player to fit then I recommend selling it on ebay and logging onto Crutchfield. They sell all sorts of headunits that will fit just fine in your 05, plus it will come with a kit and step by step instructions on how to install. Plus I really dont get the use of a 6...

Thanks I think it looks a whole lot better too. My new JVC was my first mod and this is second, so I'm on a roll. Next up is a lift, exhaust and cold air intake!!!! I love my 4Runner!!!!!!

THANKS!! I tried everything I could think of to add it straight from my computer but I just couldn't get it to work. I did figure out a few more things about the Mac, so I guess it wasn't all for nothing.

How do I upload pictures on a thread? I have a Macbook and I've only had it for about 4 months so maybe its a Mac thing that I don't know about. I tried putting pics in the attachment and I tried just dragging it into the message space and neither will work. Every time I preview my post...

Just checked out the website and they didn't have any grilles for that my '05. So far the only replacements I've been able to find was black. I'll try calling the dealerships tomorrow.

Did you just get yours on a web site some where? If so do you remember the website? My runner is that light blue color, pacific something(cant think of the name), I was wondering how hard it would be to find that color. I haven't seen to many runners like it.

My chrome grill is the only part of my 4runner that I don't like, how hard is it to get it changed to color keyed? I was going to stop my the dealership today but didn't get time. Can the dealership match the paint and would it be cheaper to try and get someone else to do it or do it yourself...
