I think the capacitor is burnt. but it is strange since it seems it can get up to full speed. If a capacitor was burnt, it wouldn't be able to provide the "second" phase to drive the rotor? In this case, the motor starts slowly, gets up to full speed, surpasses what I think is operating speed...

I only wish the PO shoddy work had actually stopped the leak... Then I wouldn't be tearing into this thing now... Might be why the PO sold it... :repuke: I did notice the 2001 moonroof assembly has the motor at the front of the assembly while the SR5 has the motor at the back of the assembly...

Here's some pics. To clarify, the glass seems to fit in the hole fine. I just want to know what the stock method is for securing the moonroof, since I can't find any good pictures. Haven't seen another that looks like mine, but I don't have a lot of samples :help:
