    Reversible AC Motor Question

I think the capacitor is burnt. but it is strange since it seems it can get up to full speed. If a capacitor was burnt, it wouldn't be able to provide the "second" phase to drive the rotor? In this case, the motor starts slowly, gets up to full speed, surpasses what I think is operating speed...

    Reversible AC Motor Question

First off, let me say wiring and wiring diagrams is literally something I hate with a passion (probably because I still don't understand fully what the fook goes on in ac motors) :redbrick: I have a Westinghouse 1/6 HP motor, the fan blows air backwards. This motor is reversible. I assumed...

99 Limited E locker rear axle

Hey guys, didn't realize the Actuator itself is more valuable than the elocker differential itself. :behindsofa: Having learned a little more, asking for $400 should be more reasonable than my previous asking price.

    FS: 3rd Gen, 99 E-locker, NE OK, $500 OBO

Previous post taken down due to not following posting rules! :hello: I have a e locker and the axle from a 1999 Limited. Motor was missing but figured I'd "save" it and "give" it to be used. Truck had 165k miles, would assume the axle does too. I am in Tulsa, OK. Pickup preferred. I can drive...

99 Limited E locker rear axle

I have a drum to drum axle and 3rd member 4.30 gear ratio e locker axle. Came out of a front wrecked 1999 Limited with 165k miles. The actuator and ecu had been taken so that isn't included unfortunately. I'm in the Tulsa, OK area (North East Oklahoma), would prefer local pickup. Asking 650...

    Moonroof (sunroof) Interchangeability

I am also posting this on YotaTech.com, hoping maybe guys and gals here will participate in measuring the sunroof dimensions, read on! Ok, after letting my rage subside for a few hours, I've gone back to look and investigate further and here is what I've found. My sunroof is an aftermarket...

    Moonroof (sunroof) Interchangeability

I only wish the PO shoddy work had actually stopped the leak... Then I wouldn't be tearing into this thing now... Might be why the PO sold it... :repuke: I did notice the 2001 moonroof assembly has the motor at the front of the assembly while the SR5 has the motor at the back of the assembly...

    Moonroof (sunroof) Interchangeability

Here's some pics. To clarify, the glass seems to fit in the hole fine. I just want to know what the stock method is for securing the moonroof, since I can't find any good pictures. Haven't seen another that looks like mine, but I don't have a lot of samples :help:

    Moonroof (sunroof) Interchangeability

Hi 4runner aficionados! I've had a persistent leak through the sunroof that I haven't been able to fix while leaving the headliner in place. So I decided to take out the headliner and find out once and for all the origin of the leak. It would appear the previous owner or upholstery shop decided...

Cruise Control and Fuel Gauge cut out while driving

2000 4runner, 3.4 with Auto and 4x4 Winter 2014, was driving to work using cruise control. Cruise control suddenly cut off (cruise light still on) and the fuel gauge went to empty and CEL pops on. (VSS code # cant remember). Drive it 3 or 4 more times it went away. Fast forward to today...

    Odd Sunroof Problem

OK, changed content of post. I'm looking at 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive to bond the roof to the sunroof frame. However, I'm not sure if it would be up to the task. I can't really find anything that would also be safe for paint and in large quantities (a know not those ridiculous 1 oz...
