I just got a 2003 SR5 4runner. If I leave the head lights on they will auto turn off. So I am thinking, If I always leave the lights on they are like daytime running lights and auto lights. I can just leave them on and not think about it. any thoughts or comments....

I am picking up a used 2003 sr5 4runner. Does the 2003 have the star safty system? what are the differance from the 2003 newer years? I would think not too much thanks
