Can anyone tell me where to find a quality yet affordable version of Toyota's "Dorado Gold Pearl" (587) paint to touch up the delamination on my front bumper? preferably in aerosol form.....this paint is almost as difficult to fix as the laser red tricolor that came on my old mustang??? I'm not...

    CS-144 swap public service anouncement

Maybe this is a stupid post, but I hope it helps someone else who doesnt know this. :pound: SO: I started to do some research on the 3rd gen CS-144 GM alternator upgrade(OEM to 140amp). I went as far as to go to the junkyard and pull one off of an old Camaro. I even ordered the plug adapter...

    Electrical weirdness

Okay, so I borrowed a few perfect photos from blueblur1984 from a previous post here. With the rear hatch cover off, for starters I noticed this: The relay in mine is red, not blue, like the one in this photo. As for the interior of the panel: The connectors that I've circled were...

    Electrical weirdness

The rear hatch was replaced from another 3rd gen, but the rear hatch was never relocked in order to work with the factory keys. The factory keys wont work in the rear lock.

    Electrical weirdness

Hello. I was wondering if you guys could help me out here. The old '01 Limited is acting stangely, and I'm not quite sure where the issue could be coming from. Bear with me, as I dont know how much is too little info or too much. To start this tale off......I originally bought this truck from...

    Stereo woes

In a nutshell, bought the truck used, can't find any comparable model year 4runners in the local junk yard with said plugs, the metra aftermarket replacement OEM plugs are not toyota color coded, so I had to translate the colors.

    Stereo woes

Okay, All of this makes sense. Eliminating all the speaker and power/ground wires makes one at at time does make it easier. My only question is, as far as the power antenna (pink/blue & black/white) wires go, what do I do with them? or the other "toyota" wires....Are there any of the others that...
