I hafta agree with the above. I like to have more than one for cross-ref. Many times you will run into a dead end or not-so-helpful stretch in a manual, and another will have a more thorough treatment of that particular topic or procedure. I use Haynes, Chilton, and FSM. My $.02

I forgot to answer your first question. At 70MPH I'm somewhere in the 3 grand range. I'll let you know exactly when I get my differential back in the truck tomorrow after the recent overhaul. WOW, those axle bearings are EXPENSIVE!!

Look on the driver's door post and get the diff code. then go to http://www.off-road.com/trucks4x4/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=274535 to find your gear. My '94 3.0 auto 4X4 SR5 has diff code G144. This is a "factory 4.88" lamentably. Good luck.

94 SR5 3VZE Auto. When I back out of the throttle, the rear gear set whines loudly. Only when I back out, and turns or brakes don't alter the sound. If I apply throttle, she quiets right down. What is it, and what do I do about it? Thanks in advance for any insight.
