    Ignition Cylinder and Key replacement

Any ever do this? Is it super difficult? I have to replace mine because my key sometimes won't turn and other times won't come out. I mean the old girl only has 316k miles on her, how could this wear out? Haha! I bought a replacement for $95 bucks and now I'll have to fool with two separate...

Great! Thanks fellas. Went the PartsGeek route. LittleCaesar, if the damned bird would have stuck to the front, the pictures would have been classic.

    Grille Replacement

I hit a turkey vulture at 75mph on the way home today. Dead center of the grille. It needs replaced. She's a stock 97 pushing 300k so I don't need anything fancy. Anyone have a favorite site for stock or aftermarket grilles? Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Added more freon, same thing. No cool air, clutch engages and disengages every 10 seconds or so. Confusion reigns.

    97 A/C help... please

Its 100*+ in STL today and on the way home from work, where there is NEVER A/C... I have NONE in the Yota. Check fridge levels, a little low. Add. Still, not even cool air. Sight glass, totally clear now. The clutch engages and disengages every 10 seconds or so. Any ideas? Thanks fellas.

That is EXACTLY what it is doing! Thanks kball! I'll do the plugs and wires and see if it goes away. Any favorite brands on plugs and wires?

    97 T4R - 233k is it the tranny?

I have some hesitation/shuttering when I'm up around 50+ mph and I'm accelerating. Has anyone ever had this issue? Fluid is full, clean, and no metal in it. Could it be something else? I'm stumped. Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Power antenna fix with pic's

Doc, your last post was the goods! I was freaking out trying to get the wheel well out to get to the motor. Stuck the new plastic strip in and turned the radio off, fed itself in and done in less that 5. Thanks everybody for making this job a piece of cake. ROCKIN!

Great board guys! I've been lurking since June. Replacing the timing belt today and needed to warm up so I figured I'd introduce myself. Thanks for all the great info. When it warms up enough to clean up my honey I'll post a pic or two of her. Thanks again.

    HELP! '97 4Runner rattle

As luck would have it, as it does about tax return time every year for me... my T4R has developed a rattle that I cannot seem to locate. It is definitely OUTside the vehicle. I have checked everything from the spare tire to the exhaust, skid plate, cat converter, muffler, everthing I can...
