Ok so I bought a 2000 lifted 2wd a yr ago. Paid $5k for it. Since then I have done about $4k worth of maintenance on it from new brakes,water pump/timing belt,steering rack & driveshaft, tie rods, u joints, shocks, catalytic converter/muffler/ sensors, all new belts, hoses....and a few other...

the noise The Noise is a Zippy Noise, almost like Im riding on a shoulder with cuts on the road......Oh I just got an alignment today too and it was very bad.....but the problem is till there.....could the resonator thing be shaking cause its plugged? could the drive shaft be shot where it goes...

Ok I have a 2000 2wd. SR5 3.4 lifted 3 inches 33's I bought it for $5K but instantly put $3k into it. Tie-rods, Ball joints Uppers/lowers, steering rack, all fluids change, Timing belt, water pump, Shocks, etc.....one thing I didnt change was the U-Joints. a few months ago check engine light...

I also have a lifted 2000..... I went with BF Goodrich XO, they look great, perform wonderful, and last a LONG time!!!!

So Im pretty sure my ujoints are bad. its got 185,000 miles and clunks when I put it in Drive. also has a zipping sound at 30 mph, worse at 50. I have been reading that people are replacing entire Driveshaft. Can't I just knock out the ujoints and instal new ones on shaft......I went under the...

clunk mine clunks from Park to drive......and major vibration at 30 mph, gets worse at 50mph......like a zipping vibrating.......very annoying.

what about a annoying vibration that started a week ago only at 55+ mph, but now its at 30mph....almost like a zipping feeling, rock on tire or something.

so whats the most common symptoms to bad u - joints? I think I have some..

So I bought a 2000 2 wheel drive, lifted 3" FABTEC , 33's, 167K,...I immedietly replaced all 4 tires, all new tie-rods, upper/lower arms, shocks, timing belt, water pump, steering rack, belts, all the maintenance from trans flush to rear end flush,.....brakes, new pads/shoes, rotors...

is it at high speeds or any speed high speeds or any speed? I have a huge vibration after 40-50

mine does it when i shift to drive from park mine does it when shifting from park to drive
