2019 4Runner TRD Off Road what color please thanks

Black, white and dark gray (MGM) are super hard to keep clean. I had a Radiant red tacoma years ago. That was the best color I have ever had. Even when it is dirty, it just looks dull instead of disgusting.

    5th gen oil change

I’m sure it has been brought up before, but I’d like to meet the guy who decided to go to cartridge filters in a dark alley. Needless to say I’m new to it and I guess the rookie mechanics where I bought it used just tightened the shit out of it. Just venting I’m sure you all understand.

Strange sound when I cranked her up tonight.

Heard an odd hum/squeal when I cranked up my 08 this evening. It was more pronounced when I shifted into reverse. It wasnt a screaming loud noise but it was definitely unusual. I went into drive and could still hear it to about 3000 rpm or just past idle. Sounded like it could be the...

    Tacoma Suspension Swap

Yeah I know what the two wrench method is but id rather bend the inner fender and deal with it than punch the wheel house liner or the coil spring with everything ive got.

    Tacoma Suspension Swap

Bending what metal? the inner fender? You have to bend it to access the back stud. There is really no other way. I do wish I knew how not to get H fluid all over myself though.

    255/75/17 KO2 Pizza Cutters

Maybe not in mud or on massive boulders where you want your tread to touch as much uneven surface as possible. Airing down also helps with cushioning the blow when you run a little faster in 4HI. But in the situations I mentioned previously, wide tires don't work well. Tread pattern is also...

    255/75/17 KO2 Pizza Cutters

The way I understand it, is that skinny tires are far better in snow, sand and loose rocky situations. The idea is that you have more psi on the tread of your tire the more narrow you go. Who cares how it looks as long as it performs. I understand that aesthetics are important to people but I...

    Tacoma Suspension Swap

Pretty much. If you have xreas you have to take all that shit out and its a pita. I would have a shop press out the rear shock bushings because its extremely difficult. I just did my swap today and it took me about 6 hours including lunch. I will say that I am really impressed with how much...

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Why not get an ome lift? It's way more durable and about 40p bucks less than that. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

    Ronman737's Daddy of 2 "build"

Did some basic stuff today. I greased the driveshafts at all but the very front zerks. I also replaced the info strip bulbs. They were both out and it was really annoying not having a clock at night. The process was pretty straight forward and parts from toyotapart.com got here from Michigan...

Rock sliders with 3" body lift?

How do you figure that the body weighs less than the frame and engine? Let's say a gen3 weighs 5000 lbs. I would guess that the 3.4 and tranny/tcase max weighs 700 wet.
