My new 4 month old baby girl. Our 11year old Weimaraner passed away on September 22 and had to have another one. After we got her home looking at the paperwork we saw that she was born on September .

Which pet barrier is that?

We have used a crate in the back of the 4runner for our yellow lab, Penny Lane. However we have a second dog arriving this spring and would like to go with a cargo liner and sturdy gate/barrier. I welcome any suggestions.

The pet barrier is a Midwest mesh wire pet barrier. It uses two long threaded rods to wedge between the cargo floor and the headliner. It works really well as long as there's sufficient tension, but it does leave a few marks on the headliner.
I didn't like that so much, so I customized it. I cut it to size and welded it together. It also has a black plastic-like coating, but I opted to sand that off and used Rustoleum bed liner to coat it. I had to cut the 4runner's cargo shade brackets so the barrier would have slots to hold the barrier and installed some factory cargo d-rings in the roof so i could have it secured at the top and bottom. There's pics in my album of the brackets.
