Your talking about the sending unit in the tank right? How hard is it to get the tank off?

The fuel gauge on my '97 seems to work fine untilk i get to around half of a tank. WHen it goes to half tank or anything below, the gauge will just read empty. I replaced the instrument cluster, but it did not fix the problem. Is there some kinf od sensor/sending unit in the tank that I can...

After I did my research I found out that one is a body lift kt and the other is a suspension lift kit. Anyone use a body lift kit with success?

I recently bought a '87 4runner and want to lift it enough to fit 35"-36" tires. (I'm guessing 2-3" of lift will be enough?) I am hew to trucks, so I know nothing about lift kits, I found these 2 on ebay...

Im looking to buy a 4runner at auction and they do not know if the vehicles are running of not and will not say. Can someone tell me the bolt size on the crankshaft so I can see if the motor will turn or not before making a bid. Thanks

I am looking at an '84 4runner, it appears that the engine is the 22r and not 22re. What are the big differences between the two engines? Are there any things to look out for ecpecially rust spots (other than behind the rear wheels on the fender)? Thanks!
