Looking for a set of wheels that fit a 2008 Limited 4x4 4Runner. I want center caps, could care less about lugs (since the stock lugs should work) and don't really care about TPMS either. These are for snow tires. I've been told 17x7.5 should fit even with the outsized rotors and weird rotor...

Does anybody know for sure whether 17"x7.5 wheels from a 06 4runner will fit a limited 08 that came standard with 18s? Bolt pattern should be the same 6x5.5 but the question is clearance of the rotors (in my head it looks like those should be fine even though they are the 'larger' of the 2...

Everybody (and myself included) love the BFG A/T KO but I have personally seen work trucks (natural gas industry - so the miles are hard) run the discoverer stts and have good treadwear at even 70k and love them so my vote goes to them.

Scoobs - how do you deal with the TPMS with your winter wheels? On my jeep all I did was buy sensors from ebay and put them on my winter set of wheels...and once the wheels are mounted the computer will read the signal and all is well. Does this work the same for the toyota TPMS or does it...

My dad just got an 08 4runner limited 4wd. He wants to get a spare set of rims to run snow tires on in the winter. Will the 16x7.0 rims clear the brakes and fit - bolt pattern is the same it appears? I would assume they should (why would toyota put 2 separate brake sizes on the same car) but...
