I think im going to be able to use my old sender. Soaked it in a gallon of OSPHO for a day and everything freed up. Plan was to soak the pump hanger so I could reuse it. After seeing the results, figured what the heck. Lets try it on the sender. Float was completely rusted in place. 2 days...

Has anyone had any luck replacing the stock sender with something other than the OEM sender? Truck hasn't run in a few years and rust has killed mine. For the price of a new one, Ill go without. But if there is a cheaper solution, Ill replace it. Thanks SAC

Just found this thread. Nice job. Did you ever close up the rear interior side panels? I'm wanting to line mine but would like to replace the plastic crap with something else and line the entire tub. Or replace with diamond plate. Curious what, if anything, you did.

When I weld my tabs to my lip, how much gap is in between the lip and the cab? I don't want to weld my mounting tabs too far forward and end up with a gap between the top and cab, but I don't want them so far back that I can't get my top to catch the lip.

I'm gonna try to get my bikini top on today.:girl: I only have one question for those experienced with making their own bracket. How much lip do you have on the front of the bracket. I want to make the transition from cab to top as seamless as possible. Thanks SAC

I got mine fixed. I replaced the throttle pos sensor. Didn't fix it at first but with a little tweaking, all is good. I didn't gauge it per say, just just moved it till she sounded good.

Are the hubs serviceable? As far as repairing?

My pa has a 94 pickup (22re, 5spd) that he no longer drives. Head gasket problem. I planned on fixing it but have found a 88 T4R (3.0 Auto). How many of the parts are interchangeable? Hubs, front suspension?It might be for sale too.

Ok. I finally had time to mess with this thing. I lifted up the front end, locked the hubs. When I spun the left wheel the CV axle shaft turns all the way across. When I spun the right nothing. Would 1 bad hub prevent it from engaging? Thanks SAC

I was able to change my FF. It wasnt easy. But after I got the gas out of my eye, we made it happen. Here's the deal with mine. Every time I come to a stop it stumbles. Sometimes it dies, sometimes not. When decellerating, around 15 mph the RPM's hit 0, at about 7 MPH it starts to stumble...
