    Good idea! Getting mine out was a great accomplishment, has reservations doing the job. Upon inspection the spindle deal had loose/bent washer holding bearings in. Tension was still there but looks like damage to that other than just replacing contacts and plunger thingy. Thanks for reply.

    Yes. I just did this today(edit currently doing this) and there should be an o-ring on the top half of the trans dipstick tube that slides into the lower.

    Eff me! I knew this both times I changed them. I feel like and ass after all the cues that led me to believe my lower mpgs were some else. I checked wth AutoZome and other... I told them dual but they confirmed I was wrong. Thank you. I Will be fixing this on Saturday.
