Looking for nice fairly inexpensive trailer hitch carrier. What’s in vogue? I tow a small boat so often pack that with cooler etc. but I’m looking for a rack to use for gear when not towing. I have the kids bikes so do t think I really need an actually bike rack vs a cargo rack. Thx Sent...

Thanks! It did come with the tow package. I do have the wiring harness that came with it and receiver. My trailer is just for a small boat now....so no brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have seen a plug further under the bumper. Do I need to connect a flat plug to the harness that came it ? And then just plug it under the bumper? I think I can figure that out. I know, this is probably pretty Simple..... Thx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks all, got most of it done but the transfer case. Where can I get that fluid? Toyota says its just 75/90 but I've heard it's a special Toyota fluid. Any thoughts. Thanks!

I'm at the dealer now, i thought it was included in my 2 year free maintence. do i need it ? dealer quoted me $389. valvoline told me its a good deal if they changing all 3 gear boxes. dealer said they are only inspecting them. thanks!

fyi, i was at the dealership yesterday with my '10 sr5 and they did find the technote and ordered the part. they gave me the same part number 171640-35060, although they thought it was just basically a spring. we shall see, cant wait to see how it works. been driving me nuts. thanks all!

So there's part numbers now? Any tech note? Sorry if already posted. I'm a bit torn, I have svc coming up in a week but I haven't noticed the crunching for a few months. I think I just have my seat positioned so it doesn't do it....
