I was thinking about putting a hood scoop on my 99 4Runner SR5. I heard you could use a Tacoma hood for that. Where would you find one that is reasonably priced and do you have to do any body modifying?

Replaced the clutch pedal bushing and that solved all my problems. Thanks guys for the info. We were looking at the part and wondering if we could get a machine shop make it out of different material. Any ideas?

Got my plastic clutch bushing the other day. I didn't realize it was so tiny. But my husband and I were looking at it and wondering if maybe we could have a machine shop make it out of brass or something sturdier than plastic. Has anyone ever done this? If so how did it turn out?

I know I am a lucky gal. I fell in love with her right after I popped the clutch and took off down the road. She ****s and gets and that was what I was looking for!

Thanks for the info guys. I got my $2.00 bushing ordered and printed the instructions on replacing it. My mechanic is going to replace it as soon as it gets in. I also stuck my foot under the clutch and it moved about an 1/8th of an inch and tried setting my cruise and it work. I was as giddy as...

Should have included this too. Also with the clutch on a cold morning when I first start up the engine the clutch wants to stay down and I have to stick my foot under it to get it to come back up. After that I have no problems. Could be tied to the clutch bushing also and or cruise control?:thanks:

I have always changed my oil at 3000 mi but reading after reading everybody's opinions I think I might be extreme for a change and take it to the 5000 mi mark and see how that does.:naughty:

How about a squeaky clutch? I have a squeaky clutch and it tends freeze up in the winter and not want to disengage. Ever have that problem? I was just curious because I never had that problem before.
