    4th gen dual battery tray??

Finished up today, well almost. Still waiting on a Deutsch DTM 6Pin DTM06-6S DTM04-6P for the ML-ACR so it's completely clean. I had to do a little modification for the Shrockworks tray and upped the rivets to 5/32 to compensate for the loss of the stock battery tray "pins" to body holds (see...

    4th gen dual battery tray??

Thanks! Thanks to everyone who replied. I decided to go with Off Grid's extra battery tray since they were local to me and it looked like the least amount of changes as well as I'm running an Odyssey Extreme for my starting battery. I'll update the post when I'm finished.

How was mounting the extra battery tray? It looks like Off-Grid Engineering's.

    4th gen dual battery tray??

Nice setup! Thanks. I'm really hoping to find a dual tray for the existing battery location to maximize space utilization and lower cost of cabling.

    4th gen dual battery tray??

I've searched high and low to no avail. Everything I've found has been for a 3rd or 5th gen. Anyone know of a dual battery tray to replace the stock one? Thanks!

    Mpg for v8s on 33s

I average roughly 13.5 with city and high miles, including trips from Denver to the mountains. That's on 275/70/R18 E load tires, rear CBI bumper w/ full size spare, roof rack, and 150lb RTT. Without wind and flat highway driving, I can get around 16-17 keeping it under 80.

    Documentation request - 2003 V8 - 4WD Operation

Apologies, I assumed the details in http://www.toyota-4runner.org/1440184-post11.html were specific enough. I'm looking for the transfer actuator wiring and TIS V8 4WD Opertation 2003 Quick Training Guide, similar to the QT312F V6 version.

    Documentation request - 2003 V8 - 4WD Operation

I have read several threads on 4WD actuator issues and have found loads of information. Unfortunately, all documentation I've found relates to the V6, which has a 2H option, different wiring harnesses, additional switches, etc. So I can't accurately test my V8, which is stuck in 4L but the ECU...

    4lo Actuator Rebuild

Ahhh... Toyota service fella must have not realized I had a V8 during our discussion.

    4lo Actuator Rebuild

It's my understanding there's another actuator / switch assembly on the front diff. Have you checked that one?

    4lo Actuator Rebuild

If you did not have to remove the actuator housing to get to the 4H/L motor, that's fantastic news! Looking forward to the update and hoping mine is a poor solder connection. The internals of mine are spotless but I'm stuck in 4LO.

    4lo Actuator Rebuild

CDL top motor mount removal Was there a trick in removing the top motor mount? Mine won't budge after removing all of the mounting screws and I need to get to the 4H/L motor.

Fixed my T-Case actuator w/ electricity and logic.

Resurrecting for V8 owners Thanks to all who have contributed. This is fantastic info. However, I have a V8 all time 4WD and there are fewer pin-outs and switches. I rarely use 4L, less than 4 or 5 times in 8 years, but recently required it. The computer never triggered full engagement of...
