I just changed hitches on my '02. If you're even slightly mechanically inclined you can do it. The toughest part is fishing the bolts back through the frame.

Re: Re: Re: computer chip key? I got the spare for my '02 from eBay also. You have to following the directions exactly. I had to do a couple times before I got it right. It still took less than 10 minutes. Lowe's told me about the chip in mine.

I read somewhere (either here or yotatech) that the clunk you are hearing is the drive shaft. There are grease fittings on it somewhere. Mine did the same thing when I bought it ('02 w/ 95,000 miles). I had the oil changed at the dealer and told them to be sure and grease it. No clunking now.

I had my '02 in the snow for the first time today. As I came around a corner (in 2wd) I gave it a little gas to see what would happen. I heard some funny things happening in the rear and my traction light came on. I'm assuming the sounds I heard were the traction control. It sounded the same as...

Could be leaking on top (sunroof, roof rack, or windshield) and running down the pillar to the floor. Or soaking through the headliner and dripping on the floor. Is the top of the floor mat wet?

Buffers are great if you know how to use them. But they can leave some nasty marks if you don't. If you've never done it try it on a trail rig or a vehicle you don't mind messing up.
