Vsc???

I had my '02 in the snow for the first time today. As I came around a corner (in 2wd) I gave it a little gas to see what would happen. I heard some funny things happening in the rear and my traction light came on. I'm assuming the sounds I heard were the traction control. It sounded the same as the traction control noises from my front-wheel drive GM cars with traction control. Right after that, I heard some sounds from the front end (still in 2wd) that sound like the anti-lock braking system was operating. Was that VSC (Vehicle Stability Control)?

Sure sounds like it. Our rental RX300 AWD does the same thing, tried it myself going around a turn in the rain and I heard similar noises, and the TRAC light blinks as its happening.

The rental RX300 AWD was almost impossible to get the tires loose and spin out, the VSC really keeps the tires glued to the road.

yeah, tell me about that annoying beep, when im stuck it just lays on that beep and pisses me off until i get out of whatever im in, i want to find that beeper and pull it soon!
