Actually, I fixed it yesterday. The Scosche digital interface (amp turn on wiring harness) was bad. Returned it and bought a Peripheral interface. No thumping aymore.

18 views and no answers? Well, I'll follow up on a tip from another website that stated the thumping noise is probably from an incorrect ground. I'm going to re-ground it tonight and see if that fixes the problem.

That's the radio I'd love to get, but it doesn't have AUX input for the XM Roady I have installed. :(

Any updates on this? I'm trying to replace the JBL Synthesis system in my wife's 2004 SR5 and wonder if this will do the trick.

To get the AUX working, you will need the adapter to plug into the back of the HU and out to a 3.5mm female AUX plug. You will then be able to use a 3.5mm male to male cable (available at any Radio Shack) to plug in a satellite receiver or an iPod/MP3 player. If you are looking for factory...

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm trying to find out though if taupe was a standard interior color for Galactic Gray Mica. Wouldn't stone be the more obvious matching choice on this color of vehicle?

Bought my 2004 SR5 last week and got around to installing the XM Roady 2 radio in it and thought I'd share some pictures. I spliced into the power outlet from underneath and installed an accessory power outlet that the XM plugs into. Since I don't have that many options on my SR5, all 3 blank...

This is probably it. I bought the 4Runner here in Columbus, but the CARFAX report shows it originally as a Florida vehicle. It was sold at auction to the dealer I bought it from and shipped to Columbus.

I don't mind the long explanation, thanks. The carpet and dash are taupe. So the tan leather does match quite well. It looks like a factory leather job, so I'm thinking the person ordered it that way. I just think it's odd that you would see taupe interior with the exterior being dark gray.

Just bought a 2004 SR5 last week and it is dark gray. 2 questions: 1. What is the factory color name? 2. Did this color come with tan leather interior as an option? Seems to me they would put gray leather in.
