    Bears

So I'm camping with my cousin in the mountains. Late in the evening he notices some activity near my 4Runner. I go to take a look and the driver's door is ajar. Suddenly a bear emerges, sees us, and exits the vehicle! I'm pretty shocked, the doors were closed but not locked. A moment later...

    Spare Wheel Mismatch

Thanks, I can see the wheels in your signature photo. So this is an "upgrade" to 5th gen wheels. I wonder how the weights compare between the 4th and 5th gen wheels.

    Spare Wheel Mismatch

I recently bought 4 new tires and wanted to rotate out the original spare tire, which would be 15 years old. However, the spare wheel does not match the other 4 wheels. I recognize it as a 4Runner wheel seen on other trim levels. But I was disappointed that it would not match the other...

    Flashing TPMS Light Fixed

I've had the flashing TPMS dash light since buying the 4Runner. I assumed it was a dead battery in the wheel sensor and just ignored the dash light. Then I bought some new tires. After installation the shop owner spent about 20 minutes working in the driver's seat. I had no idea what was...

    New Owner, some concerns

Street tires will be smoother, quieter, and better riding than all-terrain tires.

"Overlanding is self-reliant overland travel to remote destinations where the journey is the principal goal. Typically, but not exclusively, it is accomplished with mechanized off-road capable transport (from bicycles to trucks) where the principal form of lodging is camping, often lasting for...
