Hey all. On my 4th gen 4wd v8 4runner I was on OME 90000 and 2886 springs and had no grinding. I just upgraded to Apache AX2 at the 1" perch with the 2886 springs. Now I'm grinding under heavy acceleration.
I'm running CARDONE HD's. In y'alls opinion, should I swap out the Cardone for some OEMs...
Installed IMS at 1" with OME 2886 springs and somehow ended up with 4.5" of lift up f
I have a 2007 V8 4wd 4runner with an ARB Bumper and warn synthetic winch. For the last couple years I've been running OME 90000 & ome 60004.
I decided to make the switch to long travel in the rear and figured...
I'm trying to find examples of a 1" wheel spacer on a 4th gen 4runner. I've only been able to find 1.25" which is a little wider than I want. I'm curious if anyone is running one and if they had to cut down the wheel studs or not.
TIA

Hey everyone, I installed the ARB skid in my T4R last week. Last night when doing some maintance I lifted the truck by the skid and it lightly bent in the middle. I tried lifting it again, but this time by the weld in the front-ish part and it seemed to hold up okay. My question is, how many...
I've been checking car-part.com every single day for the last couple years and have never seen a locked 8.2 for less than $2,500. I've seen posts where people score one for less than $1k, or even less than $500. What am I doing wrong? I must be looking in the wrong places. I will take any advice...
I have an 07 V8 4WD 4Runner. I have been lucky enough to not have been stuck nor stranded in any hole requiring recovery points on the front of my rig, but I would like to add some for safety sake. That said, I am running the ARB Bumper up front, warn winch and all. For as fancy as this thing...
I'm thinking about buying some trim packers for my 4th Gen. Right now my setup is:
Front Suspension
OME90000 Shock
OME2886 Spring
OME95PF5 Lean Spacer
Rear Suspension
OME60004 Shock
OME2895 Spring
My plan would be to add two Top Plate Spacers (1/4") to the front, one on each side and two OME...
I called several salvage yards and 90% of thedon't see any 8.2's. The other 10% are charging at least $3,000 for them.
Also car-part.com are full of lies haha. I called those shops and their costs are at least $500 more than what it says.
The primary cause for 8.0” differential catastrophic...
Well I finally took some time to go through all the receipts and tally up an all encompassing build list. I left maintenance items off, but here's all the 'upgrades' I put on my T4R.
I also decided to total the cost of the mods... Bad idea... Ended up being over $10,500. Definitely doesn't feel...
I actually posted it in the description of the video, but here is what I used - APT, UHMW (Ultra-high Molecular Weight) Polyethylene Tape, Resists Abrasion, Impact, for Surface Protection and Friction and Noise Reduction for Lining Sliding Surfaces. (1" x 5Yds, 10 Mil UHMW)...
It only bounces 25-30mph which makes me wonder if that's when the calculation kicks in. Like I'm wondering if the speedohealer doesn't do anything until it hits 25 then it does the math and launched the speedo forward like 10%.
Im just curious if anyone else's does that.
2007 Toyota 4Runner...
No kidding. My FIL has the exact same ride as me but stock and he's for the most part gone everywhere I can go. He just has to spend a little more time on line choice and ends up using his skids a little more.
